WE CAN HELP
Childline provides its services for any child under the age of 18. The foundation works with various government and NGO stakeholders to safeguard the rights of every child as outlined by the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of a Child (CRC).
Over one hundred countries worldwide have their own child helplines and many others are in the process of starting one. Helplines for children across the world have demonstrated their effectiveness by providing direct assistance to children in need and making comfort, help and emotional support immediately available.
NO JUDGEMENT JUST SUPPORT
Children are encouraged to talk about their problems without judgment or fear of making things worse. Outreach services can link children to immediate rescue, safety and provide direct support to the child.
“SaiDek 1387”, like most Childlines around the world, is not associated with any government agency. This makes it possible for the organization to urge the authorities to take action and to fully function as a spokesperson and representative of the child population of Thailand.
Helping children at risk or in crisis
Since January 2011 The Hub has offered much needed support to children and teenagers in the centre of Bangkok. The youth club is a beautiful and inspiring, open-planned building in the Pomprab district. Ideally located, it is just 5 minutes walk from Hualampong Railway Station.
Our staff are ready to help
The Childline Thailand call center, located in Bangkok, handles cases from all over the country. Staff in the call center are ready to take phone calls and online messages 24 hours a day, 365 day a year.
The call center is the direct link between children and support services and is, therefore, fundamental to the success of our work.
We Campaign
Childline Thailand Foundation has been fundamental in the development of child protection issues and will continue advocating for child rights issues through all levels of Thai society.
We support the UN Child Rights Convention that stipulates all of the intrinsic freedoms that should be granted to children, independent of their abilities, physical appearance, background or spiritual beliefs. The Thai Government signed the CRC in 1992. It took a number of years following the ratification for necessary action to be taken in Thailand but a very important piece of legislation materialized based on the CRC – The Child Protection Act of 2003. Since then it has formed the foundation for building a whole new system and standard for child protection in Thailand.

ตอนเด็กๆ รร.ตจว.แถวบ้าน ทำแต่เมนูอร่อยๆ แต่ด้วยรร.ขนาดเล็กเลยกินได้คนละนิดละหน่อย แต่ยอมรับว่าเมนูทุกอันอร่อยมากกกก พอป.6ย้ายมาอีกจังหวัด ไปวันแรกโดนเลย 1.ช้อน ต้องเอาช้อนไปกินข้าวเอง(ละเราโดนด่าเลยวันแรกเพราะเราไม่รู้ว่าต้องเอาไปเลยไปขอยืมโรงครัวได้มาแต่โดนด่า) 2.กฎคือห้ามกินเหลือ ต้องตั้งมือฉากกันรอคนมาครบละท่องข้าวทุกจานไรนั่นถึงจะได้กิน) ละคือนี่เป็นคนค่อนข้างเลือกกินค่ะยอมรับ (เพราะที่บ้านไม่บังคับเรื่องกิน+รร.เก่าทำแต่ของอร่อยของน่ากิน) วันแรกเราเจอผัดแตงกวาใส่ไข่ ซึ่งเรากินแตงกวาได้ แต่กินแบบเอามาทำให้สุกโดยใช้ความร้อนไม่ได้จริงๆ รสชาติคือไม่ได้ ละบังคับกินให้หมด มีการมายืนตรวจถาดก่อนที่จะไปล้างด้วยละถ้ายังมีในถ้วยจะบังคับให้ยืนกินให้หมด อ้วกแทบแตก ยิ่งเป็นคนที่รับรู้กลิ่นดียิ่งแย่ อย่างผัดดอกหอมอ่ะ โห เรากินไม่ได้เลย ละอะไรที่ใส่ต้นหอม ผักชี อะไรที่กลิ่นแรงๆอ่ะ ส่วนตัวชอบทำอาหารละรับรู้กลิ่นและรสได้ดี กินข้าวโรงครัวเข้าไปสามารถรู้ได้ว่าใส่เครื่องปรุงหรือผักอะไรบ้าง เราเลยได้กลิ่นต้นหอมหรือผักชีแรงเป็นพิเศษ(มันมีคนประเภทนี้เยอะมากนะ) แต่ก็กินข้าวได้อยู่แค่ต้องเขี่ยต้นหอมหรือผักชีทิ้ง แต่ผักอื่นๆก็กินได้ปกติ แต่ก็ได้กินเขียวผักอยู่บ้าง
ถึงหน้าตาอร่อย เเต่รสชาติห่วยเเตก . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ก็กินอยู่ดี
ดีกว่ากินไชโป๊วผัดไข่ทั้ง 5 วันที่ไปเรียนค่ะ (เรื่องสยองตอนประถม เราเกลียดเมนูนี้มาก แล้วโรงเรียนก็ขยันทำแต่ไอ้นี่คู่กับแกงเผ็ดๆ คิดดูว่าเด็กประถมมันกินได้มั้ย เราไม่ได้เรื่องมากนะ กินได้ปกติไม่เลือก แต่ขอยกเว้นไอ้เมนูนี้จริงๆ กัดคำแรกแทบอ้วก แถมบางวันโดนครูมาคุมแล้วยัดให้กินจนหมด สุดท้ายอ้วก แลเวไล่ให้เราไปหาไม่ถูพื้นเก็บกวาดอ้วกตัวเองอีก บอกว่าไม่เคยเจอเด็กที่ไหนกินยากแบบนี้มาก่อนเลย คือ เมนูอื่นได้หมด แต่ยกเว้นไชโป๊วผัดไข่จริงๆค่ะ สำหรับเรามันเหมือนผัดแตงกวานั่นแหละ)
